As a breeder, I understand that showcasing the Maine Coon breed (along with any purebred) validates adherence to the established standards set by TICA and CFA. Upholding these standards is crucial, as deviation can lead to inconsistencies. This principle mirrors the standards ingrained at every educational level and across various subjects.

I strive to strike a balance between dedicating time to my cats and kittens at home while also managing to exhibit them in different cities and states. Although I believe wholeheartedly in the importance of adhering to breed standards and maintaining high-quality representations of the breed, I also firmly believe in the necessity of being present at my cattery to socialize my cats and kittens, ensuring their happiness and well-being. As a result, I find myself showing less frequently than I would prefer. Balance is important in everything in life!
